DUARTE, CA (December 15th, 2003) - Delafield was honored with a visit from California State Assemblymember Carol Liu. This is the first time she has visited companies in the City of Duarte and Delafield was selected as one of only five contacted due to our involvement with the Chamber of Commerce and general visibility within the community. The focus of her visit was to meet with business owners to gain input regarding California laws and how they have negatively impacted businesses in her district. Delafield President Nik Ray and other company representatives presented several issues regarding the increasing difficulties Calfornia businesses face.

FONTANA, CA - During the recent "Old Fire" wildfire that raged in Southern California, Ron Potter, a Site Maintenance Worker from California Steel Industries (CSI), lost his home in Devore, CA, when the fire raced through that community. On the weekend of November 15th, coworkers from both CSI and Delafield Corporation joined together to help Ron clear his property of the ruined debris.

Mabank company prepares for growth

MABANK - Delafield Fluid Technologies is planning a lot of growth and production numbers in the Quonset hut on State Hwy. 198.

Production Manager, Larry Lee, is proud of his 10 person staff and also the newest equipment.

Delafield has a staff with over 200 collective years of experience in providing outstanding designs to help customers with metal needs.

From hose, to quick-disconnects, to cylinders, to tube fittings, to valves, to filters, to gauges, to motors and pumps, and to expansion joints, state of the art machinery allows this growing company to produce thousands of products to exacting requirements.

The company finds engineered solutions to practical problems with a focus on electrical and mechanical system integration.

Delafield has seen tremendous increases in their abilities to add capital equipment such as tube bending machines, automated wiring stripping devices, and the staff includes mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic engineers.

Headquartered in Los Angeles, California, Delafield Fluid Technologies came to Mabank in 1999 in alliance with Solar Turbines to build all their metal hoses for the past five years.

The staff can use their computer graphic capabilities to design metal art to fit gates, fences, building sign posts, and create industrial products.

Certificate of Appreciation Awarded to Delafield by Titan Industries

SAN DIEGO, CA (October 17, 2002) - The Delafield Corporation was awarded a certificate of appreciation by Titan Industries' Pulse Sciences Division for our part in helping to construct nineteen transmitters that Titan created for the Spallation Neutron Source (SNS) Facility at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Tennessee under a contract with Los Alamos National Laboratory.

This ambitious project involves the creation of an accelerator neutron source which will be a National asset for scientific and industrial research for years to come. The first transmitter that incorporates Delafield's products was delivered in March of 2002 to the location and has successfully operated since then and continues to meet the SNS requirements. The Oak Ridge transmitters will continue to be installed and be brought online in 2006.

Delafield to Help OCTA Make Necessary Repairs on "Clean-Fuel" Buses

Delafield Corporation is in the process of repairing flaws in the system that include leaks and faulty valves that appeared soon after the buses were delivered.

The OCTA is the 19th-largest transit agency in the United States. It handled about 60 million riders last year on 79 routes. The OCTA has 523 buses in its fleet.

In March of this year, the OCTA formed a technical team to investigate the buses faulty systems and discovered problems with recurring leaks in fittings and valves, malfunctioning vaporizers that were sending liquid fuel into the engines, failing methane detectors, and malfunctioning fuel tanks. Thus far the OCTA has spent $100,000 to replace leaking fuel pipes and had to redesign the entire fuel delivery system.

The store's Grand Opening was a chance for Delafield to introduce itself to the neighborhood. Not only was it an opportunity for people to come check the location out, but it was a day of fun for anyone who wanted to attend. The day started off with karaoke and an antique car show, but the event really came to life when the In-N-Out cookout truck arrived. Hundreds of people lined up to get a signature "Double Double" from the truck. Later in the day a raffle was held, where many prizes were given away. People could win anything from t-shirts and hats, to restaurant gift certificates and golf clubs. The grand prize was a $500 toolbox. The day came to a close with a mini-concert performed by the "Blue Steel Band," and delicious, catered Mexican dishes. The Delafield ParkerStore in Fontana started off with a bang, and it's pool of customers has been growing ever since.

DUARTE, CA (February 8, 2002) - On September 11th of 2001, the United States of America was attacked in one of the nation's worst acts of terrorism ever. In a matter of a few minutes, thousands of lives were ended and millions of other lives were affected.

We at Delafield take pride in being an American company, distributing and producing products that are American made. We cherish our rights to freedom and the opportunities provided to every American. Therefore, as many of us around this nation feel, it is our duty to give something back in this time of need.

At the end of the 2001 year, Delafield proudly donated to the New York Firefighters 911 Disaster Relief Fund to aid the families of those firefighters and EMS personnel who were on the scene of the New York disaster.

Delafield is also proud to announce that after months of hunting for a flagpole during a nationwide shortage, we were able to finally let Old Glory wave freely for the first time.

Accompanied by several city and state officials, including the Mayor of Duarte, Phil Reyes, and the 28th District Congressman Field Representative, David Olivas, a special ceremony was held to dedicate both the flag and the small plaque beneath it to the memory of those lost in the September 11th attacks.

From this point on the American Flag will wave proudly over our corporate office for years to come.
