The Delafield Corporation was awarded a certificate of appreciation by Titan Industries' Pulse Sciences Division for our part in helping to construct nineteen transmitters that Titan created for the Spallation Neutron Source (SNS) Facility at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Tennessee under a contract with Los Alamos National Laboratory.
This ambitious project involves the creation of an accelerator neutron source which will be a National asset for scientific and industrial research for years to come. The first transmitter that incorporates Delafield's products was delivered in March of 2002 to the location and has successfully operated since then and continues to meet the SNS requirements. The Oak Ridge transmitters will continue to be installed and be brought online in 2006.
