Det Norske Veritas Certification, Inc. is pleased to announce the ISO 9001:2000 certification of Delafield Corporation's Duarte, CA, facility.

Delafield Corporation is one of a few companies to meet the new ISO 9001:2000 certification requirements. By achieving ISO 9001:2000 certification, Delafield demonstrates its commitment to quality for the Design, Manufacturing and Distribution of Electromechanical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Components and Systems.

In accepting the registration certificate, Hamdy Youssef, Quality Manager and Management Representative for Delafield, stated: "The achievement of ISO 9001:2000 reflects our continuous efforts to achieve superior product quality and reliability for our current customer base and new customer prospects."

"We're justifiably proud of this achievement, which sets us apart from our competition," said Jim Martin, Delafield's VP and Management Representative. "The commitment to quality is pervasive throughout Delafield and is a highly visible and significant part of our day-to-day operations."

Delafield's President, Nik Ray, added, "This is a significant milestone in the history of our company. ISO 9001:2000 certification will indicate to our customers that we are on the leading edge with our quality system, while providing us with internal benefits as well.
