LOS ANGELES, CA (June 1, 2009) -- Delafield Corporation has received approval from the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) for the manufacture of Parker Hannifin compressed natural gas (CNG) hoses. This makes the company the sole American CNG hose fabricator that is also a full line Parker distributor.

CNG hoses are used at all CNG Fueling Stations as well as in transit vehicles that use CNG. The hoses are typically operated under pressure in hazardous locations; as a result, all CNG hoses must be CSA approved. CSA auditors perform an audit prior to approval, and hoses and fittings must pass stringent tests for leaks, durability, strength, and impact resistance. Delafield Corporation successfully completed its audit and received its certification in May 2009.
