LOS ANGELES, CA (June 9, 2009) -- Three Delafield Corporation employees have been recognized for their contributions to a recent NASA Deep Space Network (DSN) project. Special Projects Engineer John Schiefelbein, Manufacturing Engineer John Garcia, and Customer Service Representative Craig Hendrickson were commended for their part in designing, fabricating, planning, and installing the upgrade to the DSN's 70m HBA Hydraulics Task. Certificates were presented at a ceremony held by the JPL Awards and Recognition Office.

"This effort was a major accomplishment in the NASA Deep Space Network and because of this, I nominated the team to receive a NASA Group Achievement Award," Peter S. Hames of DSN Development stated. "I personally would like to thank each of you for all that you did to complete this task on time within the scheduled downtimes and within budget."
