Duarte, CA (August 21, 2009) -- International Standards Authority, Inc. (ISA) has recommended that Delafield Corporation be recertified to ISO 9001:2008. In addition, ISA has also recommended Delafield Corporation to the Aerospace community for certification to AS9100 Rev. B.
Despite the fact that it opted out of the pre-assessment option and had only four months to prepare for the AS9100 audit, the company received an overall score of 96%. Dr. Hamdy Youssef, Delafield Corporation's Corporate Quality Manager and ISO 9001/AS9100 Management Representative, stated: "The diligence and dedication demonstrated by all of you during the audits have been appreciated by the ISA auditors. They seemed especially to appreciate your pride and professionalism when you answered their questions."
