DUARTE, CA (April 13, 2011) -- Delafield Corporation continues to develop new innovations in the oil and gas industry, receiving patent number 7,909,091 from the United States Patent and Trademark Office for its custom-designed service loops. The design improves the restraining of service loops in an oil derrick in order to prevent entanglement. This is a major improvement in the manufacture of service loops in the Top Drive market. Other U.S. and foreign patents, notably in Canada and England, are currently pending.
Previously, Delafield Corporation was awarded a $2 million contract to provide over 150 of these custom-designed service loops to a major Top Drive manufacturer.
