DUARTE, CA (November 1, 2013) – Delafield Corporation has reached another milestone by obtaining ASME U-Stamp certification after meeting the guidelines set forth in ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC) Section VIII Division 1.
In order to obtain ASME U-Stamp certification, Delafield Corporation underwent extensive inspections of internal procedures and fabrication processes at several levels of the organization. This included overview of design calculations; certification of ASME-approved materials; certification of welders; and multiple reviews by an independent ASME-authorized inspector of assembly, inspection, and non-destructive testing of final products. Products accepted by the authorized inspector bear the appropriate stamped symbol on a nameplate affixed to each vessel.
Obtaining ASME certification emphasizes Delafield Corporation’s ongoing commitment to its quality program and assures that the products manufactured at Delafield Corporation’s facility in Los Angeles are among the safest and most reliable products for any particular design application.
